Having been around for more than 20 years, we’ve become one of the most competent and diverse construction companies in Puerto Rico and have worked on projects of all sizes for a variety of industries. Our integrated approach allows us to use innovative tools to always deliver our projects on budget and on time.
Instead of focusing just on design or construction, we focus on our client’s goals. Although we are of greatest value when involved early in the project life cycle, we can help at any stage. We’re comfortable acting either as an agent for our clients by providing Construction Management Services, or having a bigger role in the project by serving as General Contractors, CM at Risk or through a Design-Build agreement.
Design-Build
Our Design-build brings design and construction together and helps client overcome time challenges, minimize construction costs, and benefit from added flexibility to innovate. Unlike traditional project delivery, the design/build delivery method places the design and building responsibilities under a single entity, and with DDD clients can rest assured that projects will be delivered on time, within budget and in strict compliance.
General Contracting
Whether you have a complete set of drawings and need a competitive bid, or have a design team, but need a trusted partner to validate that your design solution meets your budget, DDD can help. Either under a negotiated approach or a hard bid, our design-build and building maintenance experience uniquely positions us to help our clients as a General Contractors.
Construction Management
Benefit from DDD Group’s extensive consulting expertise through our Construction Management services, where our team becomes an extension of your capability in contracting and constructing, assuming a larger part of the responsibilities, and therefore of the risks and rewards. Construction Management is appropriate for both private and public projects that are relatively complex where continuous monitoring of cost and schedule are critical. Acting as your fiduciary agent, a peer relationship is developed between DDD and the architect/engineer, and the client is aware of the esthetic, schedule and cost trade-offs before making any program or design decision.
Self-Performance:
We have skilled labor, specialized equipment and hands-on experience to get the job done right. DDD self-performs critical portions of its construction projects, including concrete work, excavation and grading, underground utilities and architectural finishes. Self-performing offers our clients (and other shareholders) substantial benefits: it allows us to quickly identify and solve any challenges, implement changes orders and efficiently reduce or eliminate subcontractor delays. By self-performing essential work, DDD maintains better control of the schedule and sets the standard of craftsmanship for the entire construction project. Services include:
