Specialized construction of rooms in highly radioactive patient treatment areas.
The scope of work included the interior demolition and conversion of an existing interior and abandoned office space into a state-of-the-art Radiotherapy Center. The approximately 12,000 sf renovation and 4,000 sf lobby expansion included, demolition, cast in place concrete, concrete block installation, cement plaster, self-leveling, vinyl floors, drywall, ceramic tile, acoustic ceilings, millwork, miscellaneous metals, wood and metal doors, lead lining, lead doors, window & curtain walls, interior and exterior paint, roof membranes and vault door installation. DDD demonstrated its construction expertise, and self-performed 85% of the work under its contract.
