Project Overview

  • This project is to construct 238,502 sq ft of enlisted barracks,  transient training, and transient training Officers quarters that houses unaccompanied enlisted personnel, officers, and authorized civilians who are conducting training at a location other than assigned home station.

The Camp Santiago Joint Training Center in Salinas, Puerto Rico, represents a critical Design-Bid-Build project undertaken by DDD Group as part of their joint venture with 4CJV for the Puerto Rico Army National Guard (PRARNG). Over a 5-year period, the project aims to construct twenty-nine distinct facilities ranging in size from 3,448 SF to 23,950 SF. This endeavor showcases DDD Group’s expertise and capabilities in executing complex and sizable projects, as they develop facilities that meet the stringent demands of the military, such as the Enlisted Barracks Transient Training and Transient Training Officer Quarters. Despite challenges posed by location and climate, DDD Group is poised to deliver high-quality work while adhering to strict LEED Silver Certification requirements and ensuring the utmost resilience against natural calamities. This comprehensive project, estimated between $100,000,000 and $250,000,000, underscores DDD Group’s commitment to contributing to Puerto Rico’s infrastructure and preparedness.
