01 Mar In the News: DDD’s Umberto Donato Advocates for Higher Levels of Professionalism in the Construction Industry in Puerto Rico
In a recent feature in El Nuevo Día, Umberto Donato, President at the AGC Puerto Rico Chapter and Principal at DDD Group, highlighted some of his plans to advance continuing education programs and certifications for individuals and companies in the local construction industry. Donato plans to develop new programs and initiatives in keeping with the changes in the socio-economic panorama, new codes, and recent events that have caused significant changes in housing and the local construction trade.
For Donato, the main challenge in 2020 is to support the members of the construction sector to deepen its knowledge about the building codes adopted last year, while raising the professional level of companies and talents of the guild. “Puerto Rico is currently facing unique challenges, but with a forward-thinking approach, we can address these changes and still elevate the level among the everchanging industry,” Donato has stated in various other appearances related to his role with the AGC Puerto Rico Chapter.
The DDD team congratulates Umberto for his extraordinary leadership and positive goals for our discipline and colleagues.
