05 Nov DDD Group Shares Federal Expertise with the SAME Community
DDD Group recently attended the monthly meeting of the Society of American Military Engineers (SAME), represented by President Umberto Donato and Director of Design Alexandra Wirshing. The meeting provided an opportunity to introduce the firm’s capabilities and share our experience delivering federal projects throughout Puerto Rico.
Founded in 1920, SAME is a professional organization that brings together members of the military, government, private industry, and academia to advance collaboration in support of national security priorities. Through professional development, networking, and industry-government engagement, SAME promotes partnerships that strengthen the engineering and construction sectors.
During the meeting, Umberto and Alexandra highlighted DDD Group’s more than 28 years of experience and our integrated approach to project delivery. Together with DDD Architecture, our capabilities include architecture and engineering, construction, project management, consulting, and facility-related services.
The presentation also featured photographs and details from our federal project portfolio, including work for the U.S. Coast Guard, U.S. Customs and Border Protection, U.S. Food and Drug Administration, and Federal Highway Administration.
Among the projects highlighted were improvements to U.S. Coast Guard facilities in San Juan and Bayamón, marine operations facilities in Ceiba and Cabo Rojo, the FDA Andrés Toro II Building in San Juan, and federal roadway reconstruction projects.
These projects demonstrate our team’s experience addressing the technical requirements, coordination, and operational considerations associated with federal construction.
We appreciate the opportunity to participate in SAME’s monthly meeting, connect with fellow industry professionals, and share our experience in support of federal infrastructure development.
DDD Group looks forward to strengthening these industry relationships and contributing to future federal projects throughout Puerto Rico and the Caribbean.
