With more than two decades of construction and design insight, DDD has come a long way. DDD Group geared its efforts almost exclusively to meeting the rigorous Time-To-Market (TTM) demands of both public and private clients. DDD Group (and its sister company DDD Architecture) has been involved in the design, construction, and supervision of multiple, commercial, institutional and residential projects with a total construction investment of more than $350MM.

 

To this date, DDD has completed a substantial list of high-quality projects including LEED projects and over a dozen successful DESIGN-BUILD jobs, making us a leader in this delivery method in Puerto Rico. We offer a cohesive, client-centered work environment, where team members, clients, and suppliers can collaborate in projects, synergistically connected by the power of emerging communication and computer technologies. Almost two decades later, Umberto works side by side with an enthusiastic group of design and construction industry professionals and support staff. DDD is an integral part of the economic development of Puerto Rico and has been consistently recognized by the Caribbean Business as one of Puerto Rico’s largest construction management companies.

DDD Leadership

DDD Group is under the strategic direction of Principal Umberto Donato, a professional in the field of design and construction that is relentlesly driven by innovation. During his early years as an architecture and civil engineering student, Umberto J. Donato recognized the need for a more effective method for capital project delivery and a wider role for design professionals in the construction industry. While working in Boston for a large construction management company, Umberto envisioned the creation of a company that would offer fully integrated services for capital project delivery under an environment where design and construction were part of a unified process.

 

In 1998 Donato returned to Puerto Rico to turn his vision into reality. Since then, DDD Group geared its efforts almost exclusively to meeting the rigorous Time-To-Market (TTM) demands of both public and private clients. DDD Group (and its sister company DDD Architecture) have been involved in the design, construction and supervision of multiple, commercial, institutional and residential projects with a total construction investment of more than $350,000,000.
