At DDD, Roger has developed from the ground up for nearly two decades. With years of field operations experience as a Superintendent, Project Engineer, Project Manager and Senior Project Manager, he has acquired a well‐balanced set of skills to supervise and guide our construction teams and successfully take charge of the company operations as Operations VP. Roger is responsible for total project management including controlling budgets, negotiating subcontracts, and providing day-to-day communication with the project team to ensure jobs remain on schedule and within budget. Roger is a team player that holds an excellent track record of strong working relationships with owners, architects, and engineers, resulting in successful construction experiences.
With a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from The Polytechnic University of Puerto Rico, Roger has over 22 years’ experience overseeing all phases of multi-million-dollar construction projects, including earthwork, housing, higher education, restaurant, comercial, laboratories, high rise, and retail projects for both public and private sector clients. Other highlights of his work include extensive HVAC improvements, site improvements, utility relocations, asbestos abatement, building structural retrofits and tenant improvement projects of both occupied and unoccupied spaces.
Roger also has a broad background in construction contract scenarios, including design-build, constructions management, guaranteed maximum price (GMP), cost plus fixed fee, and hard bid.
Founder and 1997 President of the Polytechnic University of Puerto Rico ASCE Student Chapter, Roger is also a Licensed Engineer and an active member of the Colegio de Ingenieros y Agrimensores de Puerto Rico (CIAPR).
