The project involved creating a pleasant space for employees that is inviting to use and also creates a new image of Lilly del Caribe from the perspective of the “traveler” on the road.
The inspiration for the concept was based on the geometric shape of a molecule. This helped develop planters, benches, green areas at different levels, and a seating area near the cafeteria as an exterior spread-out space. The space lends itself to use for employee activities in this area. There are different types of spaces: some for gathering and others with a bit more privacy for those who need a little more tranquility. A water element was incorporated to connect the current fountain (which serves as a fire cistern) with the new space. Landscaping development is also a crucial element in creating the desired ambiance for the client.
