19 Feb DDD Group President Umberto Donato Continues Advocacy for Puerto Rico’s Construction Industry
DDD Group is proud to announce the continued dedication of our President, Umberto Donato, to advancing the interests of the construction industry in Puerto Rico. Recently, Mr. Donato was honored to attend the 2024 AGC-PR Board Swear-In event at the Puerto Rico Convention Center, where the new president, Ing. Jose L. Ortiz, was inaugurated. Donato also had the privilege of being sworn in for another term on the board of directors, serving as the 2024 secretary alongside his esteemed colleagues.
The event was graced by distinguished figures, including Puerto Rico Governor Pedro Pierluisi and Secretary of the Department of Economic Development and Commerce Manuel Cidre, along with hundreds of colleagues from the industry. This event was especially significant for Umberto, as he previously served as president for the 2021-2022 term, highlighting his deep commitment to the AGC-PR.
Established over 60 years ago, AGC-PR stands as the premier association of companies in the construction industry, embodying values of craftsmanship, integrity, and responsibility. With over 350 member companies—comprising general contractors, subcontractors, specialized contractors, and suppliers—along with over 30,000 construction employees, AGC-PR is dedicated to promoting local hiring, safeguarding the collective well-being of the industry, and fostering accurate, transparent, and fair business conditions and processes.
DDD Group fully supports the initiatives of AGC-PR and shares its vision for the future of the construction industry in Puerto Rico. As we embark on the journey into 2024, we look forward to a prosperous year ahead, fueled by collaboration, innovation, and a shared commitment to excellence.
