25 Sep Project Update: Visible Progress on the Terminal A Pedestrian Bridge
Work continues to progress on the new Terminal A Pedestrian Bridge at Luis Muñoz Marín International Airport. This project will provide passengers with a safer, more comfortable, and more efficient connection across the airport’s facilities.
In recent weeks, the project has reached significant milestones:
-
Painting work has begun, giving the structure its first finished appearance.
-
Installation of the storefront system is set to begin, an element that will define the bridge’s exterior look and feel.
-
Ongoing infrastructure work continues to prepare the bridge for its subsequent phases of development.
As part of these activities, DDD Group conducted a site visit to evaluate progress and ensure quality, a major component of all DDD procedures and a standard we maintain across every project.
These visible updates underscore the careful coordination required to carry out a high-profile project in an active airport environment. Every step is carefully planned to ensure safety, minimize disruption, and keep the project moving forward.
Once completed, the pedestrian bridge will not only enhance airport operations but also improve the passenger experience, creating a modern, functional link that reflects the importance of Puerto Rico’s primary gateway to the world.
At DDD Group, we are proud to be part of this transformative project and look forward to sharing more updates as the Terminal A Pedestrian Bridge nears completion.
